The City of Wadley hereby gives notice that a public meeting will be held on October 2, 2024, at 5 PM in the Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 37 Butts Street, Wadley, Georgia 30477.

Meeting Purpose:

1. Inform the Public: Discuss the need for improvements to the City's wastewater treatment system.

2. Regulatory Compliance: Fulfill the requirements of Section 391-3-6-.02 of Georgia's Water Quality Control Rules and Regulations (and its amendments).

3. Encourage Public Involvement: Seek community input on the development of a plan to enhance the wastewater treatment system.

Meeting Objectives:

The meeting aims to gather public preferences regarding alternative methods for improving the City's wastewater treatment facilities. These options will be evaluated and included in the City's Environmental Information Document.

Public participation is crucial for selecting and developing the final plan, which will be submitted for approval to the State of Georgia, Department of Natural Resources.
