City of Wadley Council Retreat

September 17–18, 2026

The City of Wadley Mayor and City Council will hold a Council Retreat on September 17–18, 2026.

The retreat will serve as both a training and strategic planning session, giving the Mayor and Council an opportunity to strengthen their knowledge and skills while also working together on the City’s future direction.

Training and discussion will focus on areas such as team collaboration, strategic planning, economic and community redevelopment, goal setting, and developing clear priorities for Wadley’s future.

Representatives from the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) will facilitate the retreat and provide training designed to help the Mayor and Council better understand these areas and apply them to Wadley’s needs.

The goal is to build stronger leadership, improve teamwork, and develop a clearer shared direction for the City moving forward.
