About the Department
The Code Enforcement & Licensing/Inspections Department is responsible for protecting the health, safety, and overall quality of life in the City of Wadley. Our team ensures that local codes, ordinances, and regulations are followed while also supporting residents and business owners through licensing and inspection services.
Our responsibilities include:
Enforcing property maintenance standards to keep neighborhoods safe and attractive
Reviewing and issuing business licenses and permits
Conducting inspections to ensure compliance with building and zoning codes
Responding to complaints regarding property upkeep, nuisances, and ordinance violations
Working with property owners to achieve voluntary compliance whenever possible

Raymond Goetzka leads the Code Enforcement & Licensing/Inspections Department with professionalism and dedication. As Department Head, Raymond oversees all enforcement and inspection activities while ensuring the community receives clear guidance and fair service.
