James Cunningham, Jr.

James Cunningham Jr. is a lifelong resident of Wadley and proudly calls the community his home. Having lived here his entire life, he brings a strong personal connection and deep understanding of the people and values that make Wadley special.

James works as a painter at Fulghum Industries and also serves as the CEO of Save One Build One Foundation, a local youth mentoring organization. Through this work, he focuses on guiding young adults, encouraging positive choices, and giving back through community service and outreach.

James decided to run for City Council because he believes Wadley has strong potential and deserves steady leadership, fresh ideas, and positive forward movement. His goal is to be part of practical solutions that help the city grow while staying true to its roots.

During his term, James hopes to support community development, improve city services, encourage youth engagement, and work collaboratively to improve quality of life for all residents.

 

Outside of work and public service, James enjoys baking, cooking, grilling, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. Family and community are central to who he is and how he serves.
