Elected to the Wadley City Council in November 2021, Councilman Kendrick McBride is a strong advocate for improving the quality of life in Wadley through strategic investments in recreational sports, water and sewer infrastructure, street and lane maintenance, and community safety. He believes recreation is an important part of the community’s vibrant and active lifestyle, bringing people together, encouraging health and wellness, and offering safe, constructive activities for youth.

He also understands the essential role that reliable water and sewer systems play in the city’s growth and prosperity. Councilman McBride has made it a priority to modernize and expand this infrastructure, working to secure funding and oversee improvements that ensure services are dependable, efficient, and able to meet future needs.

Equally important to him is community safety. By collaborating with local law enforcement, emergency services, and community organizations, he works to create a secure environment where residents can live, work, and play with confidence.
